V&A DUNDEE SCOTTISH DESIGN RELAY, 2018

When working at Icecream Architecture, I was project lead working with Dounreay apprentices (a group of young people on a programme at the nuclear plant) to develop a project to exhibit in the opening of the V&A Dundee in 2019. The young people followed a series of design exercises to cite a problem in the area they would like to solve and through a co-design process prototyped a solution. The young people found the lack of other young people in the area could be solved through a development of a travel app which could encourage slow travel, community input and connection to unknown, wild places. The app prototype was exhibited as part of the Scottish Design Relay at the Museum in 2018.
