The band Dallahan's name derives from Dullahan the mythological Irish headless Horseman which carries the Cóiste Bodhar (koe-shta-bower). Dallahan's debut album was incredibly well received and they've got numerous 

accreditations for their work including nominated as 

'The best Up and Coming Artist of the Year' at the BBC Trad Folk Awards 2014. 

Their second album 'A Matter of Time' was also nominated for 'Best Album of the Year' 2016
